Not too busy, decent amount of parking and easy snorkling.
Little beach, but great for small kids.
First time I've been tempted to bomb a review to keep this place quiet... But this is our favorite beach. So long you can find a quiet place if you like. Reef breaks the waves well offshore so nice quiet water near shore for family's and snorkelers. Great snorkeling around the largest reef in the Hawaiian islands.
We loved that beach with the kids! Great snorkelling to do with the reef, and plenty of trees for shade very close to the water. Restrooms, showers and parking. Not much waves.
Best snorkeling on Kauai. When we went there were only two of us in the water. The protected reef makes it fairly calm but it is easier with flippers. We saw two massive sea turtles - but you had to swim out to the reef. My favorite snorkel experience on the entire island.
